Gentle oil poured onto the forehead – Shirodhara

Shirodhara is a deeply relaxing Ayurvedic treatment during which warm oil is gently poured in a continuous stream over the forehead. This gentle flow of oil gradually invites the body and mind to let go, and may bring a feeling of calm and mental clarity.

Before the treatment, we take some time to talk. I bring everything needed to set up the massage table in your home. For the treatment to take place in comfortable conditions, please make sure the room is sufficiently warm, at around 22°C.

The duration shown corresponds to the treatment itself; please allow approximately one additional hour for setting up, the conversation before and after the treatment, and packing everything away.

As the oil is poured over the forehead and hair, your hair will necessarily become oily during the treatment. Please allow yourself some quiet time afterwards and, if needed, have everything you need to wash your hair.
